3D Sculptured Projects
This virtual reproduction shows the rendering completed for the making of Jaume Plensa's Crown Fountain in Chicago's Millennium Park. The 3d reproduction of the fountain consists of two high towers that face each other across a 48-foot wide pool. 3D Water cascades flow from the sides of the towers while video footage of different faces are projected from behind the 3D glass blocks.
Jaume Plensa asked Pixeldreams to project videos of peoples faces pursing their lips on the towers. It was to make the people appear as gargoyles as a squirt of water spews forward.
