Pixel Dreams Projects

Pixel Dreams develops an industrial 3D animation for Shrijver's Smart DRY system.

Smart DRY is a Dutch company dedicated to the treatment of humidity in homes. The SMARTDRY moisture control system is an alternative to traditional waterproofing.

It was developed in the 1970s by the Dutchman, Mr. Henk Schrijver, who was looking for an effective way to solve chronic moisture problems in his own home. Since then, the SMART DRY System has been successfully installed in thousands of homes around the world. Unlike traditional waterproofing, which prevents moisture from rising up the walls by capillary action, the SMARTDRY System uses external ventilation to promote the natural drying of the walls. It is a clean, sustainable and ecological solution that uses natural principles instead of chemicals.

In this project, our objective was to be able to clearly and efficiently explain the causes of the appearance of humidity problems in all types of homes and the correct treatment using the SMART DRY solution. Through a 3D animation, we show the installation process of the system outside a typical home and, through the use of 3D particles, the activation of these devices that allow air to flow through them to expel moisture.

Pixeldreams, is a 3D animation company from Barcelona that has more than 20 years of experience in the field of 3D architectural visualization. Our knowledge in info-architecture and the use of virtual reality technology allow us to create 3D animations for architecture and the depiction of complex installation processes with the aim of improving communication between companies and clients.

Our first video was a "before and after" for our engineers as it became much easier to explain our solutions.
