Itinerant educational project by approaching the thought of Leonardo da Vinci and his attitude towards life in order to promote curiosity, critical spirit and the desire to know through observation and experimentation.
The aim of Pixeldreams was to create a discovery experience based on the essence of Leonardo's thought transferred to our days through augmented reality. The Leonardo CaixaForum app contains 3 3D models of his models that allow you to visualize in 360º what the original materials of the time looked like and to understand how the movements of his inventions should be, just as Leonardo had imagined them. The Augmented Reality app is complemented with scale models of some of his ingenuities, an audiovisual that speaks to us of observation, analysis and creativity, and experimentation games in AR in order to build bridges between his time and the present.
This exhibition brings us closer to Leonardo based on his most essential feature: his insatiable curiosity. Painter, engineer, musician, urban planner, naturalist, architect ... Leonardo da Vinci's creativity stems from an intellectual restlessness, from a universal curiosity.
Leonardo came to knowledge in a different way from that of his contemporaries, since he did so through a method based on observation, experimentation and analogy, which called into question the immutable theories and learned ideas.
