Pixeldreams' action consisted of providing information on Repsol's value chain through three Augmented Reality Apps: industry processes, the use of oil and its derivatives, as well as a commitment to energy efficiency. From June 23 to 27, 2014, the Repsol Madrid Campus hosted the second edition of the Open Day. For five days, Repsol employees had the opportunity to share their workplace with their family and friends, share with them the spirit of the company and show them the new headquarters, inaugurated in the second half of 2012.
The Open Doors Days received to more than 3,500 visitors whose celebration would not have been possible without the participation of 85 volunteer employees. In this way, the attendees were able to learn in a playful way about the world of energy and the countries where Repsol has operations, thanks to the presence of Fundación Repsol's Mobile Classroom.
The little ones were also able to enjoy an Augmented Reality dynamic, as well as storytelling, children's makeup and a delicious healthy snack, among others.
A total of 85 volunteers from the company dedicated their free time to receive, explain, guide and share with all the visitors. Many of the visitors highlighted the importance of coming to the Repsol Campus with their family "to show them where they work and create a feeling of belonging among the employees."
Pixeldreams divided the context of the event through 3 applications. An application allowed geopositioning through virtual tags the different event spaces. The second application allowed users to disguise themselves through a virtual avatar. Finally, 4 Virtual Islands were created that represented the values of the company.
The attendees highlighted being able to change their point of view about the place where they work, perceiving it through augmented reality, as a closer, more playful place that integrates the family.
