The Venice Biennale is one of the most prestigious contemporary art events in the world. Pixeldreams' Participation in the 2024 edition consisted of giving value to a new and impressive exhibition titled "Souls of Venice" inside the Ca'Rezzonico Museum of Venice and the Doge's Palace.
The Souls of Venice are 15 sculptural figures that represent 15 illustrious personalities of Venice, among which are figures of the stature of Marco Polo, the composer Vivaldi, or the Painter Titian, among others. The sculptures, strategically placed, seem to represent a dialogue between them. They have a fragile and wired finish that changes with daylight but come to life holographically for the visitor through Augmented Reality and the use of Photogrammetry. After downloading the APP and scanning the marker on each sculpture, users can interact with each 3D character in 360º on a real scale, with the clothing and attire of the time, in addition to being able to listen to a voiceover from the character themselves, in this case scripted by Quinn, both in English and Spanish.
