Immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) have transformed various sectors, from entertainment to education.
However, its impact on medicine is a momentous milestone that redefines the way we understand healthcare. At Pixeldreams, we are proud to be pioneers in this field, offering innovative VR and AR solutions specially designed for the medical sector.
We developed an Augmented Reality application with 3D cellular models, with the purpose of presenting treatment solutions for psoriasis, highlighting the drug Cosentyx. This project sought to explain the treatment of psoriasis through augmented reality technology, using 3D cellular models to show the effectiveness of the medication. Pixeldreams was in charge of creating high-quality 3D animations adapted to the needs of the project, with the aim of enhancing the message during the exhibition at events, fairs or conferences. Furthermore, the integration of 3D animation with the world of pharmacy and medicine allowed for an impactful and compelling presentation, providing an immersive experience for viewers.
We partnered with Cocoon Medical, a company specializing in aesthetic medicine equipment, to develop a medical 3D animation that explained the mechanism of action (MOA) of Cooltech technology. This revolutionary technology uses cold to reduce subcutaneous fat in various areas of the body. Thanks to our experience in 3D visualization and virtual reality technology, we created a clear and efficient animation that demonstrated the effectiveness of the treatment. This collaboration demonstrates the power of 3D animation as a communication tool in the medical field, allowing companies to present their products and processes in a visually impactful and understandable way.
We worked with Abbott Laboratories to develop an innovative and original virtual reality game, as part of the presentation of the nutritional supplement Glucerna at the SEMDOR congress. This "serious game" immerses users in a virtual clinical environment, where they must select Glucerna containers to treat patients in hospital beds. This initiative shows how corporate virtual reality games are revolutionizing the way companies present their products, providing immersive and effective experiences for both customers and employees.
We collaborated with Zeiss Medical Technology to develop an immersive experience in the form of a medical metaverse during the SEO 2022 conference. The objective was to captivate event participants through a virtual representation of three high-end surgical microscopes: the IOL Master 700, the Artevo 800 and the Quatera 700. This experience allowed users to interact with the equipment both from web browsers and with Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality glasses. The use of virtual reality in the medical field not only provides communication and marketing opportunities, but also which also facilitates the visualization of products in an interactive, direct and realistic way. Pixeldreams used photogrammetry and 3D scanning to create accurate models of the equipment, ensuring a faithful and detailed representation of the equipment in the metaverse. This innovative approach proved to be a powerful tool to showcase products and establish effective communication between suppliers, manufacturers and customers in the medical sector.
The benefits of VR in medicine are abundant and tangible. From reducing costs and risks to improving medical education and health research, VR is fundamentally transforming the way medicine is practiced. Our VR solutions not only improve the patient experience, but also empower medical professionals to deliver superior quality care. Immersive medical training: Virtual reality offers interactive and realistic simulations that allow healthcare professionals to train in complex medical procedures in a safe and controlled environment.
At Pixeldreams, we are committed to leading the VR revolution in medicine. Our team of VR and AR experts is ready to collaborate with you to create customized solutions that drive innovation and improve clinical outcomes.
